There is a separate staff toilet and staff office space for administrative purposes and to ensure the safe storage of personal information and other personal effects there are locked filing cabinets.

The property has fully operational smoke detectors. There are a dry powder extinguishers and fire blankets in the house and kitchen to cover electrical and oil fires.
CCTV cameras are situated on all landings, communal areas and property entrance to ensure we are aware if someone is outside of bedrooms and to monitor who goes in and out of the property. In addition, regular fire drills would be implemented to ensure that staff remain trained in all aspects of fire emergency procedure.
Kindle Care would be staffed 365 days per year on a 24-hour basis. Staffing would cover 3 shifts on a rota basis. Alongside this, the manager would also work 9 – 5pm, Monday – Friday with provision for 24 hour on call roster between the manager and on-duty worker in the case of emergencies. Also the director would assist with the 24 hour on call roster.
